After taking one pair of my new reading glasses back to Specsavers to be fixed*, I picked up my son and partner and off we went to Matlock Bath. We walked up High Tor, taking a detour through some Roman lead mining squeezes (at least that's what we think they were) and then they took me along Giddy's Edge. It's a high level, narrow path and, although I've often heard it mentioned, I've never walked along it before, but good to do!

The catkins at the top were lovely, a sign of spring! The extra is of my son and I on Giddy's Edge.

* one of the screws fell out at Patterdale but, when I screwed it back in, the screw just went round and round and round.
