Dry Gulch / Saddle Rock

It's about 103 days until I walk the Cotswolds Way in England. I am so excited for this trip. It's about 103 miles of walking over two weeks. I don't think it will be too hard but I know that I need to step up my "training." 

Today I decided to hike the Dry Gulch trail. The trail is on an old road and gradually goes up to an earthen dam. It was a blustery day with lots of wind and a little rain.There weren't many people so the solitude was nice. 

My camera spent most of the time in its dry bag but I pulled it out at the end of the hike and took some photos of the iconic rock formation above town, Saddle Rock.
