Newcastle Downunder

Here comes the change

We sweltered again today.   It was 37C at 9 am and overnight I don't thin it got below 29C.  That sort of heat is draining.

By late afternoon the change arrived and I ran into some light rain on the way to Sydney.  I hope it makes it to Newie as I have lost some more plants from my garden during the week.

I haven't been to Redhead for ages and I noted a couple of changes: - For one, there has been several thousand tons of sand built up at this end of the beach and secondly, someone has put a cone on the top of the shark tower - as you do.  Just a regular one, not a Brexit one.  How are all you UK people coping with Brexit.  It must be very strange times for you.
