A Stolen Moment

Returning from a long day out in the world, I had a choice to make. Go home for a quick nap before going for the little dog at Day Care, or follow the golden light of the lowering sun to East Beach. These three photos declare my choice. As tired as I felt, I drove past the road to Shearwater and followed the light. As always I found the external answer to my inner
question. The dance of light in sky, on sand and water... Birds being true to themselves, completely unaware of the gift they present to a woman with a camera. I surrendered to this particular form of rapture, and I found refreshment.
