What's the alternative?

Went to the gym this morning although Des was a no show. Vic & Jill were, and it was quite busy. While I was waiting for J to come & pick me up, I waited in the library.  As you may know, it's a significant birthday for me later in the year, so this book title attracted my attention.I had a quick look inside but most of it was commen sense, so I didn't borrow it, but maybe I should have. We had an early lunch, and then  I had a quick shower, as my hairdresser was due early afternoon. Hair is now looking good, until the next time.
