Finally

Finally, I’ve read Catch 22 cover to cover. Have had plenty attempts at it over the years but not for quite a while, so when I was uninspired by my current collection of library books I pulled S’s copy from the shelf. A good decision and a week later it’s back in its spot. Reading it now, I’m not sure why I found it such hard going before and I might need to investigate the bookshelves for other potential forgotten gems. The cover blurb calls it ‘polymesmeric’ - there’s a word that you won’t bump into very often.
It’s back to Edinburgh library’s offerings now, an eBook to start things off.
