Paperbark Maple

Walking home today with Grand Z from the bus stop we noticed this tree that looked like it was shedding it’s bark. Grand Z told me to use my phone app called Seek in it to see what it was. Took awhile to find the right position so app could identify it but now we both are a little smarter about a tree in our neighborhood.
