Another wintry view

This was the view from my friends house in Kintore this morning, over the single railway track that takes people from Aberdeen to Inverness to the fertile fields of the Garioch beyond. We've had snow for a week now and it's still pretty chilly. More forecast for tomorrow too so I'm planning to work from home.

But back to this morning - our joint efforts to produce supper the night before were very successful and the anticipated craic was excellent, with much hilarity over the Tesco Horse jokes that are flourishing online and elsewhere! That might have had something to do with copious quantities of red wine consumed during the evening and the digestifs thereafter. But despite this no sore heads in the morning.

There were loads of birds feeding in the garden, including a woodpecker, but unfortunately it's beyond my abilities to capture them on camera. Something else I must learn.
