Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Our last port of call was Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas - a private island owned by Holland America. It was a lovely place for a few hours of sun and relaxation. With two ships tendering in, it never really felt crowded unless you stayed right near the tender station. A couple of hundred yards up the beach and there were far fewer people around. And I managed to find some shade to lie in too, so was very happy. Not many birds around but if I was them, I’d be hiding in some shade too!

A last dinner and our traditional last night in the casino - hubby won some dollars on the craps table and then we added to it on the blackjack table, finishing the whole cruise with a profit of $60. Woo hoo!
