Blossom

Finally finished some paperwork that I've been trying to sort out for the past couple of weeks, so it felt like quite a productive morning.

Walked down to the shop for some essential bits and pieces this afternoon, and stopped on the way to admire the blossom on the tree in St Mary's churchyard. Then a couple of hours working in the 'yard. Moved a few pots around to make space, put the second of the two new ones in to place, and planted a new bare-root rose in it! I'd intended to be out for only a short while, but was still in the 'yard when MrM's friend Jimmy arrived. He had a meal with us - MrM made a huge Shepherd's pie - before he and MrM left for an Irish music session in Etal. I'm planning a relaxing evening.
