Eyes Down!

We haven't seen this unobstructed view down into our patio since we rebuilt the house to this top-terrace level eighteen years ago. We now have it after the recent storm, Gloria, blew away the screening and awnings.

We are always amazed by how high the terrace seems. Thirty-nine steps separate it from the patio below. As Scots with a literary bent, we couldn’t have had one more or one less!

I took out all the damaged material today (three hours work) and we hope to contract our handymen neighbours to reposition similar material soon, with perhaps a little upgrade in quality and colour coordination.
