Sloggy trail

Today, my goal was to hike up SaddleRock. I started out and the weather was gorgeous. I was even hiking with just a vest and not a jacket. However, there was a dusting of snow on the trail in places which you can see here a bit in the foreground.

Unfortunately, the higher I got, the trail got worse and worse. Before too long I was slogging in mud and slipping and sliding. I decided to turn back. 

Both my boots and my dog need a good cleaning.
