Domestic Lion

Dragged myself (and Katcal) out of bed this morning, up to a wintery Brierly park to catch the sunrise, only to find there wasn't one.

There were, however, loads of birds, and I got some great pics which I'll be adding to my Flickr account soon. But I couldn't resist picking this shot. He just looked so lovely and wild!

I may have had a last minute change of heart as to the pic I chose, had my bloody battery been charged when I spotted a beautiful fox on the back garden about an hour ago. Managed to get the shot set up as he stood on the garage roof, in the snow, posing for me... and then nothing! Dead camera! Arrrghhhh!
