A beautiful neighbour

The weather has gone cold and rainy but I managed about an hour's walk without getting wet. I took several photos of wet flowers but settled on this lovely puss as my blip. Quite friendly but didn't permit stroking.
I'm walking without a stick now but the operated hip still gets quite painful fairly quickly.
I did some cooking in the wet afternoon - spicy pumpkin soup and leeks & potatoes au gratin.
