More Evidence of Nature Waking Up

Just a short walk today, after yesterday's jaunt and the two hours of badminton in the evening.  Have to say I was very sore and aching this morning first thing and it took a bit of time to mobilise and get comfortable.

There is clear evidence around of nature preparing for spring.  Lots of the ducks on the canal are pairing up, with forlorn drakes floating around on the periphery, if they haven't been lucky enough to find a mate.

I found these crocuses on an estate footpath as I was walking home.  Luckily the sun had just caught them to lift the shot.
