Japanese Pink Pussy Willow

Very cold during the night .... even the sand at the top of the beach was covered with a layer of frost.

As planned L and I set off for Cambo Estate this morning. After a warming cuppa and a freshly made scone we headed off in search of today's blip.

This pink Pussy Willow was eyecatching as the frost crystals caught the light from the sun. Thousands of snowdrops and plenty of dwarf irises, hellebores, and winter aconites. As we are here in Fife till Wednesday we may fit in another visit.

To walk off the calories consumed in the scone we headed down through the woodland walk to Kingsbarns Beach where we enjoyed a bracing beach walk while dodging the incoming waves.
