Seedpod

It's been about 35 degrees here in the north suburbs of Perth today, so no rushing about for us. My cousin Anne took us to King's Park, where we had great views over the centre of the city and the Swan River.

When the heat of the day had reduced a little OB and I went looking for birds. We found one kookaburra, Australian magpies, ravens, galahs and some bright parrots which we haven't yet been able to identify - bright orange-red chest, blue head, green tail. Anyone know??

We also saw some unidentified birds from a distance eating these seeds. Not sure what tree they were on. How poor our knowledge is!
