Grimwith Reservoir

A lovely peaceful day and eventually the sun came out. Had a morning coffee at Woodvale Garden Centre and then headed in to The Yorkshire Dales. I didn’t really want to do much driving so plumped to go on a walk around Grimwith Reservoir near Grassington.

The walk is four and a half miles and is mainly flat but is certainly open to the elements. I always find that flat walking makes my hip hurt more so than undulating or hill walking. Consequently I was hobbling a bit by the time I returned to the car but wasn’t bothered, it soon eases off.

Watching Scotland v England now and have a chicken biryani for my tea :-)

No news on Sal’s dad so I’m working on the premise that no news is good news.
