Attractive

Our Kranichwoog is in the local news every couple days. This week an aerial photo was posted on Facebook, and the sunny weather and the photo attracted the "masses".
The Woog looked fantastic in the photo, but what people don't know is that you can barely see anything walking by the area. We are still waiting for the water buffalos to move in and the two observation towers along the paths.

The new little parking lot, where I parked for years in the mud before it became the Kranichwoogs parking lot with room for more than 2 cars, has been busy all week. The best thing about it: since it became an official parking lot, they blocked the path leading to the woods and the Woog and now everybody is forced to walk. No more cars on the path - fantastic!

This is also the spot where I always stop on the way from work (and sometimes to work) to find a late blip. Sometimes, especially in winter when it's dark or almost dark when I come home, I just sit in the car for a while. Looks like the good times there are over.

Added an extra photo from the other side for my Kranichwoog collection.
Oh, and just noticed for the first time the parking lot is now on Google maps as a "Wanderparkplatz" - a parking lot for hikers.
