Rewards

.... for a birdwatching and log-splitting day.
Added kingfisher and common gull sightings today. Yay. Not seen a kingfisher for at least 20 years! Common gull was pointed out by a fellow (experienced!) birdwatcher in the hide this a.m.- not that common at all!
Spent the rest of the day helping friends who I house sit for with log splitting and stacking - very satisfying - in return for lunch.
Nicely pooped now and time for supper and a glass of wine. The notebook contains my bird list and bird info.
This year's list is now up to 74. Not bad for a novice!
