Chalk

A very arty day, and it was difficult to choose just one photo.

First, I went to a neon exhibition in Margate. It was small but great. It finishes at the end of the month, and is going to go out with a bang - a rave is being planned for the last night!

Then on to the Way We Walk exhibition at the Turner Contemporary. All artworks are made from found objects by African American artists from the American South, with references to the slavery and segregation that shaped that region for so long - and still does. An excellent, thought provoking exhibition.

Finally, this private view of my friend Christine's work at a small gallery in town. Great to see her work close up, and that there was a good turn out for it.

Very calm evening, with a clear sky. The moon over the sea was quite stunning. From the forecast, it will be all change tomorrow, thanks to Storm Ciara!
