Osmington circular

We have a book of walks in Dorset so today we’ve walked one.

We started at Osmington and climbed up the hill towards the White Horse. It was cut into the hillside in 1807 and it represents King George III as he was a regular visitor to the area.

The view from the top was amazing looking out to sea and we also walked past a hill fort and barrows called the Bincombe Binks. It was a lovely day.

We them dropped down to Sutton Poyntz and had a drink at the pub. Everyone was very friendly.

In the evening we’ve been to listen to Steve Knightly in Bridport. We’ve had a great day.
