The calm before the storm

The weather is changing, grey day with the wind picking up as the day went on.  S came round and we went for a walk into Southend, did some shopping and had a coffee and sandwich.  Later we went to the church and tidied up all the stuff I had cut down, 6 bags plus filled the bin! 
I chose this shot because I liked the fact you can see the structure of the pier quite well and the people walking plus the pier train
