Storm Ciara

We'd been warned and Storm Ciara was brutal.  This was our garden on return from the dog walk this morning.

Midday I decided on a trip out to break the monotony of the rain/wind but didn't get far as the roads were blocked due to the fear that the roof of an aircraft hangar nearby at Duxford Airfield will fly off in the storm.

We've had some respite late afternoon but it seems the wind is picking up again this evening.  

Grateful to live in a solid house and feel safe.
