Farewells

These two headed off with mum this morning with a stop for lunch with their other grandparents in Birmingham.
I was very pleased to hear they had arrived as driving conditions were hideous.
Their Aunt Stephanie stayed for lunch but scooted back over the Pennines when there was a brief period when the rain stopped.
It’s been so bad here that the allotment is underwater. Maybe we should plant rice this season.
Will miss the family but looking forward to a few quiet days.
