Quilt party

Once each year I join with a group of avid birders and quilters from Hawks Aloft in New Mexico to help build a quilt top over a weekend. The quilt is finished later and the final product is raffled off in December to raise money for the organization. This year's quilt features a crane theme.

The quilt is designed by the same woman each year. She teaches quilting and lectures around the world, besides running the organization which monitors raptor populations and conducts education programs.

This was our 20th year!
