A normal Winters day in the Highlands

We were lucky and did not really Suffer from the storms further South. We did get some rain and wind but nothing unusual except the pressure was very low making my joints and head hurt. We did have two power cuts though but luckily I was just about to dish up the roast dinner which we then had to eat by candle light.The power was back on after 30 minutes.
The bluetits were pleased to have some nuts that I out out and lots of goldfinches where at the top of the field, I think they feed on the dock seeds.
Watched Cobra , pretty scary how things could go wrong if we lost power, hopefully most of it was untrue !
