Hawfinch - Coccothraustes coccothraustes

A new guest has found my garden!

Yesterday I saw this hawfinch (in dutch: Appelvink) for the first time, but I didn't have a proper camera around. But today, in the snow, she (I think it's a she) was back and gave me the opportunity to capture her several times. The photo was taken through glass with a rather high ISO, so the quality isn't 100%. I had to be quick, yet careful because the slightest movement scares her away high up in the trees again.
