New Vacuum

This year is not going good my Dyson Vac gave up the ghost well it was over 20 years old not even sure when we got it, so it's done well.  Now we have bought a Shark, we got a good deal  it was on offer from from Curry's I am finding it a bit awkward at the moment to get used to but thats just because I am used to the other.

Well now for the rest of the saga. Was going for the rental car this morning then car hunting, but had a call to say we could pick it up between 4pm and 6pm (its supposed to be 7 days but it has to be back by 11pm on Sunday and as they are not open Sunday it will have to be Saturday which when I went to school makes 5 and a bit days, so that scuppered today's plans. We set off at quarter to 3 The usual bus route was closed because of the flooding on the road into Castleford and it was impassable so the bus had to detour and a 20 minute journey took us 1 hour and 5 mins. The best was the detour took us past the car rental place but as it wasn't on the designated route for his bus he couldn't stop. That meant when we got into the bus station we had to catch another bus back to collect the car. It was a manual and Paula  hasn't driven one for years as she always has an automatic, and it was chucking it down on the way back which of course took ages as we had to detour going back.

It was turned five thirty by the time we got home, so we had a cuppa then some tea, and then went grocery shopping, well it's quieter I must say shopping at around 8pm got home at 9,40 had another cuppa watched Hawaii five 0 and that was it.

So I did a quick blip of my new vac.

Also had a call to arrange the pick up of the other car, they are coming on Thursday.

It was very cold today and is blowing a gale at the moment.
