Jacket

This is a ski jacket circa 196?, at at time when my dad was a teacher and he had met mum. It may have been after they married but before I came along, so could be 68? Could be older.

So between 50 and 60 years old.

It's been in the various lofts of their house, and after they'd gone, 3 of mine.

I used to wear it as a kid in the 80s to clear snow off the drive of our house. Extra pic is some proper 1980s snow that we just used to shovel aside. We'd get to school hoping that the heating had broke so we could come home. Not this modern day 7cm forecast and then NOTHING at all....Snowflakes!

Anyway, found it again while finding my own stuff for skiing next week. May take it back to Switzerland as the badges says dad was there...

I can't however see how it kept you either warm or dry and guessing some kind of Arran sweater was needed underneath too.

Ironically looks a bit snowboarderish, a sport that had yet to be invented.
