Storm Ciara: The Aftermath

With sleety showers continuing all night and then during the day, it came as a surprise to see the water level in the river had dropped considerably. The floodwaters had mostly drained away, just leaving the odd lake behind. On the other hand, the very strong winds continued quite unabated.
