New Bloom

I went out for a Blip of the river this morning and amateur that I am the memory card was not in the camera... I was not best pleased!

This is an orchid that is one of the few plants that has survived in our house, the garden blooms during the summer thanks to my better half but indoors its a different story!

This blossom started to open overnight and I liked the way the light came through the opening petals and liked the depth created by the stem
