Soap & Suds & Smoke

Had an eye test today. It took an hour! I am now £195 lighter as I’m getting some ‘everyday’ glasses (with coated lenses). I get to keep my reading glasses too and that prescription hasn’t changed. The optician said I’ve done well to get to my age without needing glasses.

Walking back to my car I saw the blue flashing lights outside the local laundry Soap & Suds. There was a smell of smoke. The front entrance had been cordoned off and two firefighters (you can just spot) were going in to investigate. There was a rather concerned man outside looking in to find out what was going on. I’m guessing his favourite underwear may be no more!
