Festive fiddling

Nipping into the Portrait Gallery, there was a pleasant surprise in the form of a short recital by a fiddler (Ryan Young) and a guitarist (Chris Amer). A sequence of gentle airs followed by a dramatically different set of jigs and reels.

The Great Hall holds music well.
