Sunset over the Howgills

A cold morning with snow on some of the hilltops. We had a beautiful sunny day with it getting a bit warmer in the afternoon. I attended the Sedbergh WI bookclub this afternoon. We had read ‘The Things We Thought We Knew’ by Mahsuda Snaith. A bit odd.  I struggled with it as it told the story of a girl when she was 8 and18 and jumped back and forth a bit. The cake was good though. When I got home the sun was going down and I got this shot with the light becoming pink. The Howgills look amazing at sunset!  Then I spotted Brutus, who had followed us up the garden, so there is a shot of him in the extras.
