Valentine Roses

I bought these this evening, at two very well known, ‘Economy Supermarkets’.....one bunch at each.
They were very cheap.....for roses in February....
and I was wondering how much the labourers were paid, who picked and packed the flowers.
At least one of the supermarkets labelled the roses as FairTrade....suggesting that the foreign labour conditions were
’ OK’....but I’m still left wondering.
