Waiting.

Today it has rained in biblical proportions!!!  But we had to go out.

My husband had an x-ray and ultrasound appointment.  Luckily we didn't have to go far, as we had made the appointment, at a new local radiology place.

Just as well as Oxenford was under water, which is where we normally go.

James was hoping to get another steroid injection in his shoulder.  But, after the doctor reviewed his tests, he said the damage in his shoulder is too much and the injection would be pointless.

So, back to the GP to find out the next step.  Probably an operation.

Meanwhile the rain continued to pour down.

On TV tonight we saw Mount Tamborine Village was flooded!!  The first time I've ever seen that.

In fact the cafe we were sitting in a couple of weeks ago, Curtis Falls Cafe, had most of it's gates and railings swept away outside.  Also, the inside was  badly flooded as well.

The Coomera river overflowed, which is near us.  And lots of roads have been closed off.  All the theme parks have been shut and a lot of schools closed as well.

I'm glad we live on a hill.

The rain has eased off tonight and it's lovely and cool.
