Emma Bridgewater

Mrs BR and our daughter decided to take a day off having sorted and cleaned the family home ready to put on the market.
They chose to go to the Emma Bridgewater factory in Stoke on Trent as the journey by train was fairly easy. Into Manchester Piccadilly then a change to a more comfortable long distance train to Stoke.
They each painted some pottery which will be fired and sent to us in a few weeks time. Our daughter painted the platter and Mrs BR painted the mug with the bees and flowers.
Then it was off to the Rabbit Hole for afternoon tea. The rabbit hole is very very popular and is booked up until May for weekend visits, they were lucky to get a table. It is an Alice in Wonderland themed tea house and was beautifully decorated. Photos in extras. They thoroughly enjoyed their day out.
