A trip to the airport at noon limited our time on the last day. We were leaving just on time - it was a bit cloudy! And it looks like timing was right on this side too, dry, calm and mild in Cork, after a few very cold and wet days.

So would I recommend Malta? Yes in the very low season and once you pick your location well.
