Storks
I was back to being kaputt this morning. Like really schlapp. So I went back to bed and slept until lunchtime. I had Nisha for company which has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are just that she's an adorable cat, and she's very sweet when she's cuddled. The main diadvantage is that she's eine Pupskatze - not a word you're going to find in any Germany dictionary - let's be delicate and translate it as "a flatulent cat".
It was more than once that I was woken up with "What the heck is that smell?" But it's not as if she was doing it deliberately. At least I hope not.
This afternoon I geared up for an appointment at my bank at 14:00. It took quite a lot of effort to get dressed and then more to get to the bus-stop. So I was quite surprised to find the bank closed when I got there.
Thanks to the miracle of modern technology, I checked my e-mail. The appointment was yesterday. I'm sicker than I think I am.
So down to the harbour to get the bus home. I like to have a look to see if there are any storks at home and I'm always happy when there are.
