A brief moment of sunshine

By lunchtime the weather had improved ..... just a bit. The rain eased and eventually stopped altogether. From my seat by the window I could even spot some patches of blue sky.

I had feared that I would have to search for an indoor blip today but during the brief spell of almost sunny weather I nipped out to the garden to photograph one of my hellebores.

The forecast for the weekend is not good .... time to catch up with all the TV programmes I have recorded but not watched.
