The Same but Different...

I spotted this amazingly coloured poppy in amongst a plot of wildflowers beside the Taylor River early this morning. It is in the same plot as yesterday’s Image/Blip.... but oh so different in colour and form. It’s been fine with some high cloud today. We are hoping for rain in the next few days...but it is likely to fall heavily on the South Island West Coast where it is not needed. Hopefully some will spill over to the drought-dry areas on the east coast!
