Practicing a toast to Robert Burns..

Its a week of Burns celebrations, so here I am having a practice dram from my quaich. In fact I have quite a lot of quaichs, some of which were gifted to me for performing at Burns Suppers. Burns said a few things about drinking, but he loved more than he drank. Amongst some of his own favourite lines were:

I hae been blyth wi' comrades dear
I hae been merry drinking
I hae been joyfu' gath'rin gear
I hae been happy thinking
But a' the pleasures e'er I saw
Tho three times doubled fairly
That happy nicht was worth them a'
Amang the rigs o' barley.
