Sorry, but having not been across the threshold yet again, I've had to resort to a blip of a painting. Again this one is by Drummond Mayo and is entitled 'Harbour Road'.

The rain has been constant throughout the day - Storm Dennis - so I decided early on that I would rather manage without the weekly tv guide than go out in the rain, but neighbour Nancy very kindly phoned to ask if I needed anything, because she had to go out anyway. She left my Herald and bottle of cough mixture - a new one recommended by friend June - at my door so that no germs were passed on, and assured me I could square up with her later. Thank goodness for good friends!
