Linlithgow Selection

We had arranged a family day out to Linlithgow for today, obviously not knowing it was going to be a storm day.  So we set off on the train, had a lovely time and didn't mind about the rain too much.
Linlithgow has a lot going for it including The Palace where Mary Queen of Scots was born-see featured stone fountain and rooftop shot.  The roof at the palace has a delightful secret room reached by a very long twisting staircase, we really enjoyed sitting in there with the wind raging around us.
We also visited The Burgh Halls, St Michael's Church, the famous book shop and other wee junk shops.
Extras are-Palace roof tops, exhibition at The Burgh Hall and St Michael's Church.
