Dublin...

Ok, this one takes a bit of explaining.  Despite storm Dennis, we made it safely to Dublin (just!) for our biannual school trip and I took my tuff camera along for the ride. 

By evening, the rain had cleared and I was trying to get some light trails on the Samuel Beckett bridge (the bridge which features on the extra) using the 'composite light trail' feature.   I'm not entirely sure what happened here, but I obviously didn't end the exposure at the point I thought I did! A little bit of tweaking in photoshop has produced this striking abstract, which I rather like. 

My thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by the storm/flooding. Stay safe everyone!
