Crochet Day

It was such a rotten weather day that we bunkered down inside, apart from a quick coffee outing early on before the worst of the weather hit.  I tend to get a bit stir crazy if I don’t go out at all.

So, it was the perfect excuse to get some crochet time in. I have seen loads of lovely mandala patterns so decided to give one a go. I had lots of cotton yarn leftover from my temperature blanket so that was just the job.  It is not perfect but this little mat is just the job to fit under the glass bowl I bought in Italy when we got married. It is currently filled with chocolates but I predict that is a very temporary situation.
