Catching Up

On the few positives about being ill and not able to sleep, is the chance to catch on some books that have been on my shelves for a while.

This one wasn't bad.  I'll still looking for a really, really good autobiography of a cricketer.  

It was another day at home. Haven't been out this weekend at all.  Can't remember the last time that happened. I have to keep reminding myself to drink some more water.

I'm going back to work tomorrow and I've just realised it's Rosenmontag.  Rosenmontag is like a second New Year's Eve but mostly without the fireworks.  A very big thing here in Hessen and in Rheinland Pfalz & Nord Rhein Westfalen (so along the Rhein really), not so big in other places.  If you ever wanted to see thousands of people in fancy dress getting absolutely blau (German for "pissed"), tomorrow's the day.

PS It's not tomorrow - it's the 24th... Phew.  Still time to arrange working from home.
