Heron

I expected a stormy night last night (and a wet one) but the rain had stopped and it was only this morning the wind got up. 
It was sunny early, with some showers later and a bit of rain later still but, so far, nothing out of the ordinary for winter weather-wise. We seem to have missed the worst of the last few storms and this one sounds particularly awful "down south".
After church and lunch I had a walk round the local parks and this heron let me get very close before flapping a couple of metres further away.
