First light

Yesterday we were in Emilia at 600 metres. A smashing day with A and M. Lovely to be held by the deep well of friendship when the seas are rough. Or at any time. But sharing Brexit fears and consternation helps.

Here we are in the barn at the house after a cold night keeping the fire in.

Later a great meeting with Lucca from the BRG lighting company down the road where they make the lights we’ll hopefully have in the house.

Florin has laid the terracotta and it looks stunning. So careful and full of craft.

I sprayed the fruit trees with copper sulphate. Buzzards wheeled in an azure sky. The Boss hard at it with institute business.
